Testimonials

“Building a new home for the first time can be an exciting, yet grueling process. Kevin Jones with Contracting Services made our experience enjoyable and stress free. His level of customer service and responsiveness is exceptional. With every detail, no matter how small, Kevin provided his expertise and recommendations with a hands on approach, which proved to be invaluable to us and our beautiful home in Mosby Mountain. We would be excited to have Kevin design and build any of our future homes.”

We moved to Charlottesville as part of work relocation in 2006. With four young children, we sought a home with a sensible floor plan and quality construction. Kevin Jones exceeded our expectations. Our house ("The Waverly") was designed by Kevin and has features that we greatly value and did not find in any other floor plans. Specifically, we love the way the kitchen, breakfast nook, and living room naturally flow together; the beautiful foyer; the downstairs master suite with very large bath and walk-in closet; the large upstairs family room; and the upstairs Jack and Jill bedrooms. But the floor plan is just the start. Kevin personally oversees each house he builds. He knows his subcontractors and hires only those with the highest work ethic and quality. Because we contracted our house before the planned excavation, Kevin gave us great latitude to make choices in a variety of areas (e.g. lighting and plumbing fixtures, etc). But all of these excellent traits of Kevin Jones pale in comparison to his integrity. Kevin stands behind his work. Quality is a given with Kevin--he always seeks the best path, not a short-cut. When we decided to finish our basement a year after we purchased our home, we turned to Kevin with a sense of confidence that the job would be done with the highest quality and integrity. (It was!) We are happy to discuss our positive experiences with Kevin or show you our beautiful home.
